Page 1 of 2 Regular exercises In the Regular exercises, the exercise screen contains two horizontal slots. The upper slot contains the question. You have to type the answer in the lower slot. After that press enter or the Check button to see if your answer was correct. If your answer was correct, you will see a green square. It the answer was wrong, you will get the correct answer in a red square. In either case you will get the next question automatically. We have the following options to make the exercises more varied, and to enable you to learn the same things in a different way. Direction This dropdown menu can be used to reverse the questions and answers. All exercises are normally given in the standard order, the order we think is best to do first. The reverse option reverses the questions and answers to double check if you really learned the words. The option both ways will randomly reverse only a portion of the questions. Please note: not all of the questions are suitable to be reversed. Question type This dropdown menu is normally set to regular. Regular means that the questions are being asked in the way we think is most useful to start with, either as open questions or as multiple choice questions. Choosing Multiple choice in this menu will convert open questions into multiple choice questions, so that you can pick the correct answer from among four options, which will be as similar-looking as possible. For the Without typing option you only need your mind and the enter button. With this setting you can keep track of your mistakes yourself. Please note: not all of the questions are suitable to be converted into multiple choice questions. |
